The 24th Meeting Heads of ASEAN Power Utilities Authorities (HAPUA)/ Working Committee is inaugurate during 22-24 November 2016, at LuangPrabang District, LuangPrabang Province. Co-Chair by Dr. Khammanh CHANTHALANGSY, Vice Governor of LuangPrabang Province and Mr. Boun Oum SYVANPHENG, Managing Director of Electricite Du Laos that attending by representatives of power sector from 10 countries of ASEAN, As well as the representatives of ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Center for Energy , Board of Director From Electricite Du Laos and Related Sectors.
The Purpose of This Meeting are Consultative between Electricite Du Laos and ASEAN member for continually cooperate electric energy development, Researching Convenience condition and Complicate with connecting The ASEAN Electric Systems for the Energy Exchange and Increase Energy Security Regions. This Meeting has reported conclude about The Working at last of HAPUA Committee, Consulting about The source for production of Renewable Energy, Technical, Exchange Solar Plans and initiative for Development Electricity infrastructure. Furthermore, Has signing of several cooperation framework for development electrical energy with constancy for encourage the economic growth of the ASEAN Community.
