Role and Responsibility
The Transmission Line and Substation Development Department has the roles as the Secretariat to the Board of Managing Directors of EDL in the design and study of transmission and substation; management; preparation and transmission and substation development project implementations from the beginning to official hand-over phase; the conduct of social-environmentally impact assessments from the electricity development projects of EDL across the country to ensure the efficient and effective manners, to align with the social-economic plans of the party-state to become a reality of each period.
